[Intro] This is Eric Andersen up here again. I"m Phil, he's Don. I'd like, I wanted to bring him up here to do one thing which is very much out of character with this whole program. (What's that?) It's a song - since this is a songwriter's hoot, I'd like to do a song by the two most successful songwriters in the world, Paul McCartney and John Lennon. But I think, you know, that in all of what's going on in music today, what's going on in folk music, I think the Beatles are the most exciting thing, really musically going on.  And that's what I'd like to make a point about writing topical songs that I always try to do that when I'm writing songs. Like the first song I did, "That's What I Want to Hear", is a very pop-oriented melody. That's why we did it, to show you that pop-oriented songs aren't necessarily bad. That's pretty exciting music.
